- Leadership is the act of making our motivations explicit in our behavior so others can decide whether or not they want to follow.
- Its culture is the hidden aspect of the organization containing the values, traditions and beliefs that members share.
- The organization itself is a collection of people behaving in a way they can live out these shared values.
There is at least one other ingredient necessary for organizational success. These values must also be desirable to its customers, its investors, and society in general.

Organisational behaviour is an entire business and psychology discipline of academic study relevant to your question which is not answered simply.
Culture, motivation, and leadership are all integral competitive advantages of successful businesses however there is no actual straight answer regarding how these effect business advancement.
The most heavily studied organisations happen to be businesses so there are lots of case studies out there defining best practices in the areas of culture, motivation, and leadership.
However these are wide topics each in of themselves. One book I would recommend regarding leadership is "Life and Death in the Executive Fast Lane" (Manfred F. R. Kets De Vries)
