Your first stop should be the reference desk at the largest library you have access to. There are large volumes that contain info on all the grants and other funding you could want. Ask the reference librarian personally and you will most likely get lots of help (ref. librarians love to get out from behind the desk and work WITH people for a change – at least this has been my experience. Good luck and keep digging.

Unfortunately, the Pell Grant does not exist once a student graduates with their Bachelor’s Degree. However, if you qualify, the Department/Office of Vocational Rehabilitation does have a small grant of $3000 a year for those who match certain criteria set for by the federal government (in the Blue Pages of the telephone book under government). Most graduate students rely on student loans to an extent,. Third, you could try to become a graduate or research assistant on campus which can help with money. Fourth, fill out the FAFSA form because there is a chance of campus scholarships. Finally, there are outside scholarships out there for graduate school, but these are smaller in number compared to the high school graduate. Good luck!
