  • Can a non-profit organization change its tax status to a S or C Corporation?

Posted by admin on October 31st, 2009 and filed under organization change | 1 Comment »

If so, what would be the limitations and constraints?

Yes it can. It simply will have to start paying takes. Many of the restraints, conditions, and reports required for a 501(c)3 corporation will be lifted. The board of directors will have to approve the change.
