I participated in a month long “spiritual boot camp” Called the Youth Training Program (YLTP) one in New orleans and one in south africa and canada. Art of living comes out of India and is now grounded in over 140 countries, it is said to be the fasteds growning spiritual movement of the new millenium and IS now the largest volunteer based non profit organization in the world…

We Meditate: And then We drink water and sleep and we meditate some more and we sing and dance and give, we do ’seva’ (service) In the group and we do group projects like help build houses for the lucky people who had all in order and have been elegable for a new house built by volunteers like us and other people who have flocked to new orleans looking to offer themselves… art of living takes it a step furthur and trained us to teach trauma relief coarse called: Breath, Water, Sound. You can follow this link if you want to see the class rooms and what it looks like to teach spirituality to kids:

Two year’s post katrina @ the levees with Fats Domino’s nephue, and his friend, who still had not found his familie/friends and had been given no help from government, he said that the renters would be expected to pay rent on a new house. A lot of people could not aford to move back. he said’ and so New Orleans rebuilds again… slowly.. How about the positive attitude,
nicest people in the world, right there at a spot where thousands died due to falty leeve. But did ‘they’ blow the leeve? We don’t know. But we know ‘they’ would do that.
